The Bhartiya Gramin Punarrachna Sanstha (BGPS) embarked upon its mission of “Education For Development” with the Sant Bahinabai Kanya Prashala School in the year 1984. The Vision and dedication of the Founder Honorable Shri. J.K. Jadhav (Former Additional Director of Industries, Maharashtra State.) combined with young industrialist, upcoming and dynamic personality Shri. E.K. Jadhav, Secretary, have now expanded the BGPS to a vast educational complex on two campuses at Chikalthana and Waluj, Aurangabad.
The Society now runs a total more than 26 educational institutions from Kinder Garden to Post Graduate Professional courses in several faculties.
The BGPS has excellent faculty in all branches and the latest teaching aids, audio, visual equipments and modern laboratories. The Library is an excellent center of information for the students and the faculty.
BGPS’, Rajarshi Shahu Institute of Management was established in1997. It trains students for Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, and is recognized by A.I.C.T.E., Government of India and Government of Maharashtra. It is well equipped with sophisticated computer lab, the latest teaching aids and library to support, the able and experienced teaching faculty. The professional practitioners and managers from well-known companies also engage classes and share their experience with the students. Many well established industries in Aurangabad as well as outside Aurangabad contribute in Training and Placement Program.

Sport is a very important activity for the overall development of the students. In this view the sports council is constituted to take care of sport activities. Facilities for games like Cricket, Carom and Badminton etc. are provided in the college. Various Sports competitions are held and winners are rewarded. All these activities are carried out for the development of students.
The culture council comprises mainly students as well as faculty members. Some of the prominent activities carried out by the council are welcome party for fresher’s, farewell parties for outgoing students, annual gatherings programmes in which the four institute offering MBA come together and participate. This council gives the students opportunity t organizes various cultural programs and events throughout the year and gives them opportunity to bring out and cultivate their inner most talents
